First of all, I must say this. If you live in Switzerland, have been to Switzerland or something, please dun say anything about when I write about it. I have never been there, but I love that country. I just made up how the cities, forests etc look like. So please, don't be too harsh ^^;  Just so you know, it'll get worse. Much blood etc. So if you're sensitive, don't read it. Some of my friends have, and they... well, think it's very bloody. ^^  Now then! Enjoy!

Seek within the blood

The cold days is starting to fade, slowly, but they are. The sun shines bright over the still snow-covered mountains.  Below, right outside of the city Bern, in Switzerland, small flowers have started to grow and the trees is growing higher by the minute.
A couple of nice log houses, is laying in the sun. They’ve tackled winter and storms very well.
Tim Rot walks out of his house that is the last one on the street. It’s more against the forest than any other. He isn’t noticed so much, typical normal guy: normal length, normal length of his copper hair. He thinks the city, the country and whole life is a bit dull.  A bit too normal.
But he takes the life, one day at the time. It works.
“But something interesting can happen sometime, right?” He said to himself and walked down the small garden path towards the mailboxes. It was five of them in a row. One for each one of the houses. Pretty dull too. His white leather shoes was still a little too cold to use right now, but he wasn’t going so far.
He opened the mailbox and grabbed a couple of envelopes and his morning paper and went inside his house again. He put the morning paper on the counter and sat down by the kitchen table with the envelopes.

“A’right, something interesting today?” He said to himself and glanced at the watch. A quarter to two. A little late to read the morning paper.
He checked the first two envelopes quickly, just commercial. But the third one looked and felt different. There was something bigger inside it.
Tim opened the envelope and out came a finger. He was shocked.
“What the fuc*, is this a sick joke?!” He shouted and looked at the finger. It looked, too real. He checked it closer, he could see broken bones come out of it.
“Is it a real…?” He didn’t finish the sentence, but stood up quickly. He saw the note beside –what he thought- broken finger, and picked it up.  He shook a little when he was about to open the folded note, his breathing was getting heavier. It was an ordinary folded  note, white paper. When he opened it, he saw red ink letters. He mumbled the text for himself.

“You said you were tired of the daily life. So now I’ve decided to end it for you. But a match this time would be nice. The last one’s blood didn’t taste as good. Maybe because he was just dull. Nothing else. Hope the finger was enough, or else maybe you want to check out the trunk of your car?  Have a nice day.”

Tim shook even more now and dropped the note. Was that really serious? He breathed even faster now.
“N-no, it can’t be true.” He stuttered but didn’t convince himself. He thought that it maybe was a joke,  but he decided to go out and check the car. He looked out of the window, his silver BMW stood there in the sunlight.
He went out to it, slowly. He watched it like it was a predator hunting him. His pulse was higher than ever when he reached it. The thoughts about it being a joke, was gone. His right hand was slowly reaching for the handle. He opened the trunk but closed his eyes before he could see what was inside.
“Okay, it’s probably a joke. Yeah, just a joke.” He said nervous and his voice trembled. Then he opened his eyes and the scream that wanted to come out choked him.
